03/08/2009: Bill and Matt are working on another book and a feature film documentary on videogames. Bill and Christina are working on a new book for Wiley.

10/20/2008: Bill and Matt's first book together, Vintage Games: An Insider Look at the History of Grand Theft Auto, Super Mario, and the Most Influential Games of All Time, is now available!  Click here for more information on Vintage Games and other books.

06/28/2008: Bill and Matt have signed deals to co-author books for both Focal Press and Hiive Books.  The full color Focal Press book will be finished first (sometime at the end of August), after which the Hiive Books book will be worked on (the one originally mentioned on the 01/05/2007 update).

05/28/2008: Bill and Matt are ready to sign a deal with Focal Press for a full color book on the greatest and most influential games of all time.  More details to follow...

04/09/2008: Two more possible book deals are presently in the works.  Stay tuned...

01/27/2008: Matt Barton's book, Dungeons & Desktops, is available now!

11/30/2007: Book excerpts are running over at Gamasutra now and we're in search of a new publisher.  More info when it becomes available.

08/29/2007: Check out the book, available soon online and at bookstores everywhere!  The title is still tentative and there's still work to be done, but at least it has a placeholder now...

06/04/2007: No title yet for the home videogame and computer systems history book, but there is a tentative October publish date.

01/05/2007: The book has been re-scoped to only cover the first 15 years of home videogame and computer systems (setting up a possible series) and is back on as a full color, glossy production.  It should be finished in the next couple of months.  More updates to follow.

10/31/2006: Several more sections of 35 Years of Home Videogame and Computer Entertainment Systems are going through the editing phase with the publisher.  Co-authors Bill Loguidice and Matt Barton are working hard on finishing the book by early 2007.  Additional comics for the book are still being worked on by Glenn, Rene and Bill.

04/25/2006: One section of 35 Years of Home Videogame and Computer Entertainment Systems is going through the editing phase with Bill and the team at the publisher.  Comics for the book are still being worked on by Glenn Schneider (GJS), Rene and Bill.  Bill is also working on a potential television project.

01/19/2006: "Mike Vox" will no longer be working on Antic Aardvark comics for the book.  In his place will be "GJS", who joins Bill Loguidice and Rene Jack.  Also, Bill and Matt Barton have once again reunited as a team for what will hopefully end up being even greater "art" than what they've accomplished previously.

12/10/2005: This will probably be the last update before the new year, when Bill Loguidice needs to go into overdrive to finish the 35 Years book.  The cover artist had a scheduling conflict, but the publisher assures that their in-house person will be able to handle the task just fine.  More comics for the book are being finished as well by "Mike Vox", Rene Jack and Bill (preview of one text-less panel to the right).  Finally, Bill is just about done plugging the holes in his videogame and computer collection for proper coverage in the book.

10/18/2005: Work is proceeding well on the 35 Years of Home Videogame and Computer Entertainment Systems book, which will now feature original cover art by a renowned industry veteran.

08/06/2005: Original Antic Aardvark comics from team members Bill Loguidice and Rene Jack (lead artist, Mike Vox), will precede era chapters in Bill Loguidice's upcoming videogame and computer history book.

07/15/2005: Team members Bill Loguidice and Rene Jack contributed to the first Antic Aardvark comic for Armchair Arcade.  Bill Loguidice signed a book deal with a major publisher for a videogame and computer history book with a tentative publish date of Holiday 2006.  More soon.

05/23/2005: Myth Core team members are currently involved in a separate book proposal project currently making the rounds at various publishers and comic strip development for possible Armchair Arcade usage.  Specific Myth Core project work will be resumed once those two external projects are at a stable point.

02/05/2005 - 02/16/2005: New concept art added under "Concept Media".  Additional art added on regular basis thereafter.  Story outlining is taking place to lead into chapter development.

01/28/2005: Big changes!  Matt Barton is no longer affiliated with Myth Core and the remaining team has decided on the final direction of their first project.  "Project Myth" will now be a novel based on an original dark faery tale universe first conceived in 2003.  Mini-games - first for PC - will still be worked on as time permits, but the main focus will be on the book.  If the book is received well, we'll decide what other areas to move ahead with the property, or instead work on the next fresh idea.

12/14/2004: Matt is attempting to do open source development on the mini-game he is directing.  Bill is doing music programming tests and continuing work on the back story/novelization, while also moving towards development of a design document for his mini-game.

12/05/2004: The back story is still in progress.  What happens after that is open.

09/08/2004: Bill's "one button" mini-game is still under development.

08/09/2004: Two mini-games are currently under development, one by Matt Barton and one by Bill Loguidice.  Each game uses different development technology and is not necessarily related to "Project Myth", which will be undertaken once the full team is in place.

09/22/2003: Three mini-games are now under development, code-named as a group, "Project Team".  These mini-games will likely make use of the game world created for the future "Project Myth" dark faery tale computer entertainment product.
